Four Front Design, Inc. is a veteran- and woman-owned architecture and engineering firm headquartered in Rapid City, South Dakota. With clients across the United States, FourFront provides architecture, landscape architecture, engineering, planning, and technical services to both commercial and government entities. As the firm prepared for a leadership transition in 2024, it sought a refreshed visual identity that would better reflect its current scope, reputation, and future growth trajectory.

FourFront’s original logo had served the company for over 15 years, but as the firm entered a new era of leadership and expanded its reach, it no longer reflected its evolution. To better represent its deep expertise and forward-looking culture—resonating with federal procurement officers, commercial developers, and internal teams—Gecko guided FourFront through a comprehensive logo redesign process. After strategic discovery, three unique concepts were developed, refined through feedback, and distilled into a final mark that balances tradition and modernity. Deliverables included multiple lockups and rollout guidance, with the new identity unveiled at a company-wide meeting to mark the firm’s next chapter.
