Honoring Tradition Through Modern Infrastructure
The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (CSKT) represent the Bitterroot Salish, Pend d’Oreille, and Kootenai peoples of the Flathead Reservation. As a sovereign tribal nation, CSKT oversees a wide-reaching network of governmental services, natural resource programs, cultural initiatives, and community departments serving tribal members and the public.
Over time, CSKT’s digital presence had expanded across roughly 20 separate websites, resulting in fragmented navigation, inconsistent user experiences, and a technical foundation that was difficult to maintain and lacked visual cohesion and accessibility standards. Gecko led the planning, design, and development of a consolidated website network, unifying dozens of properties into a streamlined, accessible platform with clear navigation and cohesive design. This not only improved usability for tribal members, partners, and the public, but gave CSKT a stable, easily manageable foundation built for long-term growth.
